How it works
One guided flow, from setup to published results.
OpenBrew walks a competition through ten phases — setup, registration, intake, check-in, assignment, judging, scoring, Best of Show, results, archive — each one a single screen with a clear next action.
One screen per decision.
Setup is a wizard, not a settings maze. Each step does one thing, shows what is left, and hands you to the next. Stop whenever you like and pick up where you left off.
Built for the parts that usually hurt.
From blank to open in ten steps
Ten focused steps take a competition through every decision once, in order, with a final review before you open. No sprawling configuration pages to hunt through the night before entries close.

Online and offline entry fees
Take fees through Stripe, or record cash and bank transfers by hand. Refund one entry or all of them in a couple of clicks. Clubs can connect their own Stripe account and keep the money flowing to them directly.

Read the judges' marks back in
Print pre-filled BJCP sheets with a QR code per judge and entry. Photograph the marked sheets after judging, and OpenBrew reads the scores back in, so nobody retypes a flight by hand.

Tables and flights, sorted for you
OpenBrew groups entries into judging tables and flights, watches for judge conflicts, and flags them before judging day instead of in the middle of it.

Every BJCP category, plus your own
All current BJCP categories ship built in. Running a specialty or club competition? Define custom styles and matching scoresheets without leaving the app.

Running a comp this season?
OpenBrew is running its first competitions now. If your club has a comp coming up and you'd like to run it here, we'd love to hear from you.
